This explains what Create.Sala collects, why, and how you can control it. It's operated by Immigrant Films Pty Ltd, operating under the name Sala ("we", "us") — run by Dan Fallshaw and Violeta Ayala, who also make films together as UNF (United Notions Film).
We don't sell your data. A small number of service providers process it on our behalf, only for the purpose of running the Service:
Anything you mark public — a public project page, a press kit, a screener link you generate — is visible to anyone with that link, by design. You control what's public and can password-protect or remove it at any time.
We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we'll remove it, including your videos from our hosting provider.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — most of it directly from your account page, or by emailing support@sala.video for anything you can't do yourself.
Passwords are hashed, not stored in plain text. Two-factor authentication is available on every account. The site is served over HTTPS.
Our service providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your own country. We only work with providers who take data protection seriously.
The Service isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
Questions about your data: support@sala.video.
